This Government Resolution deals with circumstances where a fixed-pay employee is selected through direct recruitment for another Government post of the same cadre.
Subject to the prescribed conditions, such an employee is provided an option to return to the original cadre after joining the new post.
Why was this provision required?
In certain circumstances, the employee may subsequently wish to return to the original cadre. This Resolution prescribes conditions governing such return.
Main Benefit — Return Option
Subject to fulfilment of the conditions prescribed in the Resolution, an eligible fixed-pay employee may exercise an option to return to his or her original cadre.
