 ઠરાવનો મુખ્ય હેતુ 6th Central Pay Commission / Gujarat Civil Service (Revision of Pay) Rules, 2009ના અમલ પછી કેટલાક પદોના Grade Payમાં સુધારો કરવાનો છે. ખાસ કરીને PB-2 ₹9300–34800માં આવેલા અને અગાઉ Grade Pay ₹4200 ધરાવતા, pre-revised scale ₹5500–9000 તથા ₹6500–10500વાળા પદોના Grade Pay અનુક્રમે ₹4400 અને ₹4600 કરવામાં આવ્યા. આ સુધારો Secretariat ઉપરાંત field-level officesના લાગુ પદો માટે પણ કરવામાં આવ્યો છે

ઠરાવ મુજબ સુધારેલી Grade Pay 01-01-2006થી અસરકારક છે, પરંતુ 01-01-2006થી 31-03-2010 સુધીનું pay fixation અને pay/allowance difference માત્ર notional રહેશે અને ચુકવાશે નહીં. સુધારેલ Grade Pay અને તેના allowanceનો actual cash benefit 01-04-2010થી મળવાપાત્ર છે. કર્મચારીઓને અગાઉ આપેલો pay-revision option એક મહિનામાં બદલવાની તક પણ આપવામાં આવી છે.

📝 Pay Revision Option બદલી શકાય?

હા. આ ઠરાવ હેઠળ આવતાં કર્મચારીઓને Gujarat Civil Service (Revision of Pay) Rules, 2009ના Rule 6 હેઠળ અગાઉ આપેલો pay-revision option ઠરાવની તારીખથી એક મહિનાની અંદર બદલી શકાય તેવી તક આપવામાં આવી છે.

એક વખત નવો option exercise કરવામાં આવે ત્યારબાદ તે final રહેશે.

Initial fixation of pay માટે Gujarat Civil Service (Revision of Pay) Rules, 2009ના Rule 7 મુજબ કાર્યવાહી કરવાની છે.
